Turbo Tech Racing is proud to bring the community another great product. Starting April 1st 2006 we will be shipping the new Ecotec Upper Engine Mount. This is a complete mount, eliminating the stock OEM mount. Cabin vibrations are much less than the other aftermarket mounts that are available. We have also found that the wheel hop in 1st and 2nd gear is almost eliminated. Please email us with any questions.

Also, May 1st 2006 we will be shipping the 1995-02 2.2OHV and 1996-02 2.4L Upper Engine Mount. This will also not be a just an “insert” however, a complete replacement of the OEM mount.

The stock engine mount has a lot of movement, causing a harmonic vibration to start; this causes pulses through the entire drive train and chassis. By being stiffer, but not solid, it acts as a “shock” like on your suspension. It dampens these pulses and doesn’t allow them to cause the vibration. Helping stop the wheel hop.
