Gasket matching and head.

No im not asking how to do it, cause that is uber simple, but i do have another question.

When ever my 2.3tb comes in the mail, im going to gasket match it to the Intake manifold, and since im removing the manifold anyway, is there anything that needs to be done on the intake side of the head with the ports? also Since the 2.3 tb is larger then the stock 2200 one i have, do i have to widen the inner flange of my intake manifold for the 2.3?

Im doing a search as well, but have come up with more questions and drama then anything.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

how are you gasket matching it, when the intake manifold has the rubber seal made into the mani...its not something you can replace, i don't think...

and no you don't have to widen the intake manifold, you can if you want

Yea i had the same idea till i saw the gasket. but as far as the inlet on the manifold it should be good all the way up to 60mm with no issues. However that may not be true when using the 2.3 TB.
