2.2 build up
Thursday, March 02, 2006 12:58 PM
I am in the process of building my 2002 2.2. I have already installed an intake and performance muffler on my car. The problem lies in that with a baby on the way, i haven't got a whole lot of extra cash lying around and was wondering if anyone knew of any mods or tricks to free up some extra horse for a little amount of green.

You have a kid comeing ? CONGRATULATIONS !!! Don't take this the wrong way but you have much more important things to think about then modding your car. Start thinking like the dad your gonna be and don't worry about going fast.

Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

...don't hate!.. respect people that have talent, even if it is in something you don't like or understand.

Congrats on the new bundle of joy.

How about one of these? Gotta love Recaro. It's the only mod I'd consider in your position.

Thanks Chuck, but i already have that mod in my '89 Suburban. I think I'll use that as the grocery getter now . Now to answer Mr. 64s question. OHV. I have my priorities in order, Dear Jackalope, so sleep easy. It's just that obtaining grease from an automobile and inadvertantly smearing it on my arms and face, is a release for me. Only God knows why, but it's the truth. Although I'm still in a pickle, I have enjoyed our silly little comments amongst each other and makes me feel very welcome to this site family. Thanks a bunch.
