Dynoed Today
Saturday, February 25, 2006 9:37 PM
Well today was awesome, went to Ride Revolutions in Johnson City TN for a dyno day, sorta depressed with my N/A number I was running 125 WHP but that is with an auto and plus I was running rich. Though with my 50 wet shot I pushed 170 hp was not able to get a torque reading because the place could not find my tach signal oh well. Looking at some of the other nitrous numbers for a 50 shot for an auto I am impressed with mine, it was an awesome day. Though I do have a question is it normal for a 2.2 ecotec to run rich N/A?

Yes it's normal to run rich n/a...I just don't know how rich though.

ah i was happy with the numbers i've heard of 2.2 ecotecs with a 55 wet zex shot 5spd only pushing 158 hp so i'm pleased forgot to mention that wasnoly with 850 bottle pressure.

Sounds like an Ln2 number

N2O + Bolt-ons = 220Hp/250Tq

yea sounds pretty close to what an OHV would put out.

I thought the eco ecu was always trying to get an A/F of 14.7 especially since his cav is post-03? 14.7 is hardly rich no ?

15.574 @ 89 mph stock

at idle my 02 eco ran 14.7:1 and once the dyno started at 47 mph i was 12.2 and the lowest it got was 10.7 from 102.8-104.9 mph... so yes rich is normal

and the place i went to had a wire they wraped around one of my injector harnesses to get the tach signal....

also i ran 133.4 hp and 150.4 tq on my run....
