ive been searching for time now, im going to buy cams, valves, spring, bronze wall guides, and lifters. i am leaning towards getting it all from mantapart because they have the best prices ive seenand i havent really heard anything bad from them other than the shipping. i am not really interested in doing the secret cam swap cause it seems like a lot of work. suggestions or info on any of these product would be apprciated thanks

Dude if you don't get the parts then why would you want to buy them? That just sounds really dumb to me. Hit up Karo for the things you need for you head. I'm sure he might cut you a deal if you get everything from him if you tell I sent you over. He will get a kick out of it. Tell me if he laughs if you drop my name. You got to do it.

Must be a J-BLO thing, since many of us have ordered from Tim & Manta over the years & our parts have always arrived within a week...

will make you stronger. I'm not sure if that is true
or not, but i do know one thing-You have to learn from
it and it has to make you better.......it has to.......

check out www.jbodyperformance.com they got bronze valve guides. I got mine in due time. I also got cams from them as well. I don't remember what I paid for the guides but the cams went up in price by about $30 a couple months after I got mine.

Honestly, I would stay far away from Mantapart. I've seen the BBB (Better Business Bureau) Report and it was terrible. Stick with companies that are more reputable.

As far as the RSM cams, don't know anyone with them, most people do the JBP camshafts or the Secret Cam swap.

A bunch of complaints...I think like 21 complaints in the past 6 months (at that time).

Check this out:

They are an average company as far as products goes. I think the point you are missing is that the quality of their parts don't matter if you don't get them.

just wondering how a stage 2 cam swap is eaiser than the "secret cam swap" ? you said it seemed like a lot of work..how much easier is it to put "other" cams in?

If you ahd even bothered to search you would have found a ton of info on the secret cam swap. The point of the secret cam swap is that nothing is required, it's a direct bolt-on affair.

Also, if you read between the lines people are telling you not to order from Mantapart. I will be more direct...they will rob you blind. Mantapart has become notorious for taking your money and not sending parts and then making excuses as to why they haven't shipped. They have had to rebuild their warehouse more times due to snow storms and hurricanes than any other business I have heard of.
