I'm debating whether or not to swap to a 2.4L that came with the Z24's. When I swap these out, can I bolt my 2200 tranny to the 2.4 motor? What all will I need to change out when swapping?

I've been researching the same thing. From what i've read the 2200 tranny will not bolt up to the 2.4. You'll need 2.4 tranny.

as with the eco, the bellhousing is different. so you'll need the transmission too. i think your gonna need the ECU as well if im not mistaken, but that thread should be of better help than i could be. if you wanna go the ecotec swap, talk to PJ from the jersey j's, he just did it and is very knowledgeable about the 2200-eco swap.
