Hello i would like to know what give me more hp and torque. also i'm looking for better aceleration (i know i can get it from the pulleys)
But i want to know what is better to change the cams or i changing the throttle body and pulleys.

And i would like to know what prices the performance cams range from.
Thank you.

Fill out your profile, i know nothing about you car to even give you a good answer. Only thing i know is you have a Z24. So i guess you got a 2.4L

Cams are more expensive then pulleys, pullys are more expensive then TB, so the more you spend, on this list, the more you CAN make.

What current mods do you have?

I am assuming that u have a 96+ z24? If so, do a search for the "secret cams" u can usually find them for around 100-120 bucks. Installation is a whole other story. Pulleys u can get from carcustoms.net, turbotechracing.com, jtuners.com, gravanatuning.com aswell. I believe rsm has them, I know u can get ur tb bored by rsm aswell, jbodyperformance I believe can help u there aswell. To get it bored and whatnot is about 3-400 and the pulleys, for the set r about the same I believe. Save up and do it all I say. Also what r your overall plans and what do u have done 2 ur car currently?

If anything, at *least* get a lightened crank pulley no matter what.. and if you really want to do pulleys, definetely go for a full-out underdrive setup ( i'm sure that's available for the 2.4 ). you will notice the difference!

If i had a choice though, and price wasn't an issue, i'd buy the cams first because i'm sure there's more of an effect there.

Sadly, no more..

Hi Sorry about that i forgot to fill out my profile. (im new in the community)
Let me see i got a 1997 Z24. right now i got an Injen intake, pacesetter headers and a cat back system. thats about it i think. lol.

What i want is to make more hp and torque. better aceleration. right now i am a little short on money and i only got money to do one of this two.... so i dont know if to change the cams or change the pulleys and the TB.

does the cat will make a small difference on the response or the performance of the car?
