Before I give you any type of opinion, I have to ask you this...

What is your ultimate goal?

The reason I'm asking you this is cause this is like the 3rd or 4th thread where you said you are doing something to a motor as far as boost or swap.

IDK well the first thing is i need a engine and i don't know what too put in it and i know i don't want a v6 and getting a 2.0 is just stupid because the aftermarket support sucks and i can get a 2.2 for almost nothing and there is a lot of aftermarket support. and right know i dont have a lot of money.

Well if I were in your shoes I'd aim for that 3.1 liter V6 or swap in a 3800 S/C for some giggles but I understand if you're not able to or just don't want to.

2nd Gens in general have VERY little support so you're gonna be basically screwed and limited to companies like Jbody Performance who have parts for them.

Another question for you is...what is wrong with your motor now? You have a 2.0 OHC motor, sounds like you did some head work to it and it's not boosted...why not put a turbo on it?

well after i replaced everything from the head up and got the clutch done the #1 connecting rod breaks and puts a hole in the block. But to tell you the truth i rather get another 2.0 and put my top end on it and use that but all the junk yards want like 500.00$ for an engine with well over 100,000 miles on them.

Contact Jbody Performance and see what they can do as far as engine parts cause I know they must have some experience with customers and the 2.0 OHC motor.
