whats up with the new gauges?.............

Need to know what the normal reedings should be. Ive got a ecotec that I just put a 3 pillar pod in. Got the oil pressure gauge, volt gauge, and vacuum gauge. What should the normal readings for the three of them?

Oil reads pressure reading is at 90-100!....maximum on the gauge!

Volt is at 14 all the time...almost on the red mark!

Vacuum is 20-25 at normal 55 MPH speed!,,,Not real worried on this one. Hit the gas to WOT as is a 0..normal I believe?

Can anyone help me....gauges are from glow shift. Any experience with these from anyone would be appreciated. Pressure gauge installation was a absolute nightmare!!

Volt should be reading 12 - 14.4 volt. thats normal range.

All seem pretty normal, the oil pressure should come down as the engine warms up. If your car ISN'T making 14 volts when running, then you have problems. Vacuum is pretty normal, especially when you let go of the accelerator.

What is normal oil pressure for the ecotec? is 90-100 PSI cold normal?

How about at normal operating temperature...wouldn't 45-50 PSI be normal?
