engine stuck to tranny

well i took my engine with the tranny.. i thought now that is out the tranny would just separate easly but its not budging the seals arnt even broken. what do i have to do to separate them ? i took off al the bolts and screws i could find that were holding them together ... i talking about its on there like if the bolts were holding it in doi have to do it by force ? in what gear should it be ? its an 2.4 auto? turn the transaxle what?? man its just fustrating ... well thanks

You have to unbolt the tc from the flexplate through the starter hole.

u must be missing a bolt, ive been told there are 1 or 2 hidden by the bottom, either that or give it hell with a pry bar

yea i got it ... finally.... i have another question i have a 96/97 z24 and i was just wondering what time of engine do i have of course is a 2.4 but i mean like LD9 or LN9 whats the difference ?

Its the LD9, there is no LN9, the LN2 is the 2.2L/2200.

http://www.importperformanceparts.net/ sells pistons for LN9 2.4l Non ecotec .. and they have comp ratio or 8.5 which is what im looking for they dont have it for "LD9" or who sells 8.5 pistons for my car ?

Its a typo on thier site, it is the LD9, there is no LN9 2.4L.

You can also get pistons from http://www.carcustoms.net

they only had 9:1 Compression ratio pistons im looking for 8:5
