would putting a header on my car and a whole 2 inch exhaust line be sufficient enough to see a power gain ?
yeah. as long as you get the pipe compression or mandrel bent. but i would go 2.25 inch diameter exhaust

Your car already has 2" exhaust... Why would you go smaller?? Go 2.25" or 2.5" if you plan to run NOS, Turbo or S/C in the future.

first time ive heard exhaust pipe referred to as exhaust LIne
if you use NAWZSE make sure you go with at least a 8 in diameter exhaust line

I'm willing to bet if you ran your new header through your stock pipe, and ended it with a better flowing muffler then stock, you would see the same gain as you would with a whole 2.25 setup (on N/A of course).
I could be wrong though.
im just trying to get the lil 2.2 faster at low cost I already have a the pacesetter 4-1 header
i just dont really want to spend 80$ on a cat and 100 something on a muffler plus glass pack (already have 3 dynomax glasspack brand new in 2 inches) if its better to go 2.25 ill go there anyway!
