thanks for the pics. in the article it does not say you have to add onto the pan in depth you just have to grind off some flanges is the adding onto just to hold more oil in the pan??

couldn't you just bend the pickup tube up just enough to clear the bottom of the pan??

Oil pan depth
is a definate issue. Bending or smashing the oil pick up in not the right way to go, you'll need a modified oil pan like the one Miller Performance sells.

when you add depth to the pan how about the lower rad. pipe that runs from behind the pan to the lower rad. hose what do you have to do toit because it bolts to the pan also??

Hey John Miller how much for one of your modified oilpans, as I will be embarking on an engine buildup very similar to Skilz except I'm also going to do a ported 086 head swap at the same time. Also do you make or have any windage trays for the 2.3 oil pump swap? I can be reached at dcyoung@co.pg.md.us thanks in advance for any help you can give.

No modifications are needed for the lower rad. pipe.
