i know ....i tried the search..... but , i didnt find what i was lookin for (it was probably there but i must have missed it) whats a 2.4 ld9? now i have a 99 cav z24 with a 2.4 but i dont see the ld9 part anywhere. i just know someone is gonna say that all 2.4s are ld9 but hell i dont know the difference and in tryin to learn so if someone could please tell me what the difference is if any i would be really thankful

Ld9 is an RPO code. Like the B16C for Honda.

It tells what the engine is. Like the 2.3, the Lo were Ld2, the Ho were LGO and the W41's were LGO-W41. The 2.2 Ohv is the LN-2.

It's just a code, not a part number.

It's like saying :" I have a 2.2". People can say :"I have an LN2".
