starting around 2 grand and up. sounds like to be coming from the back of the engine closer to my windshield. hard to describe the sound- almost like a cat hiss or a weird throat sounds. almost the sound when your getting a lugy out your throat. any ideas?

Kind of hard to say, do you have any engine mods? Do you only hear it while driving? Do you see anything unusual in the engine bay? What do you see/hear when you rev the engine from the TB?

motor mounts, and intake. doesnt make a sound when at idle, mostly when i first give it gas. from the tb it sounds like what i said above.

Can you pinpoint it while revving from the engine?

I'd check the exhaust manifold for leaks or corrosion

Besides the exhaust mani, I'm not really sure; hopefully someone else would be able to help out, sorry bro. Have you checked around the engine while someone else revved for you? Try that and see what you can find.

Could be a minor leak in your exhaust manifold like they said.. maybe even headers? How many miles are you running on?

133000, someone said it might be a bearing. that would suck. how much they run?
