well im looking more for the jsut the combustion chamber volume, you know like when you are looking at ordering v-8 heads they usually give how many cc's they are. heres a link to summit showing the specs of a certain head and it shows combustion chamber volume (59) and thats the number i need for the Ecotec. http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?Ntt=heads&x=0&y=0&searchinresults=false&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&N=115&target=egnsearch.asp

sorry im not the best at explaining things haha thanks for the try hope that clears things up

bring it somewhere to get it done, or i'm sure you can find a way to do it yourself (liquid and and graduated cylinder)

or if i remember correctly NJHK did it awhile back, ask him

AFAIK, Adam, just bought a Patriot performance ported head... i don't remember him ever menitoning getting it cc'ed unless Patriot sent a spec sheet along with it.

Stock Ecotec head combustion chamber volume is 53cc's. It is a stock head so there will probably be variations, and it never hurts to match the chambers when you get the head ported. Any good port job will include a chamber cc. If they don't offer it, don't buy their stuff.
