I installed this about 10 days ago and it seems that the DP part of the header keeps "rocking front to back" during hard take offs, especially in reverse. Have you guys noticed this problem? does the DP need to heat up and mold the the header, so there for i need to keep tightening the spring bolt? or is the DP not centered on the header correctly?

hmm looks like u have mounts, thats all i had,
Mine's done that since I got it. I tried to find a exaust dougnut gasket to fit in there but i couldnt find one the proper size. It wasn't too bad until the last time i went to the mufler shop. They twisted my exaust when they welded the new resonator on so the downpipe doesnt exactly sit flush with the collector. It leaks and rattles and sounds terrible now, and need to find out how to correct it. I might just get a new header.

Go Go OG Traction!!
get that lower mount installed and that should help. if not, there's always flex pipe.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
get a lower engine mount, it'll make a difference, your exhaust is going to move, it's not a fixed mounting, but uses the rubber hangers.
If your exhaust didn't move, every time you accelerated you'd bend your exhaust.
The lower motor mount will decrease how much your engine moves, and thusly decrease the movement of the exhaust.

I did my upper and lower mounts on my Z24 soon after my header install. Not the OBX header, but whatever. Either way, the reduced engine movement not only put a little more power to the ground, but also kept the header from making ambient noise, whacking against the heat shield, metallic "creaking" noises while it flexes, and reduced the overall sway of the entire exhaust. Excellent decision not only to correct your problem, but also a sweet little gain in performance. Cheap as hell also, get them from carcustoms.net
