Plugwires question
Wednesday, January 18, 2006 11:49 PM
I am at about 50,000 miles and I just changed my plugs so I suppose it is time to change my plug wires, I was wondering if Nology's were worth the money? They seem pretty pricey to me, or if I should just go with $50 magnecors that are like 8.5mm. Thanks guys

Get these:

2.2 OHV Magnecore 8.5 mm Ignition Wire Set

My friend had them and had no issues and the gains were decent as well.

plug wires don't gain horsepower. they really don't do a whole lot anyways to be completely honest. but... they do improve spark.

I know man I'm just saying, more in response to Adam's post about gains. They don't really gain you anything. But yea the magnecores are nice. I have the Accel 300+ wires on my car, ordered from Gravana. Cheapest plugwires around. They work great.

When I said gains, I didn't really mean HP gains...just meant more that it's effective.
