Any one know the pros / cons of fully floating wrist pins?

less parasitic drag on the rotational mass? that's about all I can figure.
that and 'possibly' cooler piston temps? Allowing oil to circulate through the small end of the rod.. can anyone else back me up? Maybe I'm out to lunch, but I know I'm right on the drag thing.
The real benefit is slightly less friction and pin galling and if you tear your motor down frequently it's easier (less expensive) to remove the piston from the rod with floating pins.
2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.
cool thanks!!!!!!

actually they can take a higher RPM, they provide a slight friction advantage, and are less prone to tightening up and causing "piston slap"
