Tuesday, January 10, 2006 9:42 PM

"Product currently not available, defective springs received from manufacturer."

First of all, his name is Karo, not Karl lol

Call Karo and I'm sure he can find you valve springs for your 2.4 (LD9). He has an all motor LD9 Drag Car so I'm sure he knows where to get the good stuff from.

Yeah,
Since Mantapart is the onle other place I can think of that has the stiff springs for the 2.4L

But we won't go into anything with that.
Which is too bad since they list a lot of kick arse stuff.

I figured you knew about them...I personally think that there isn't any product that I would want to order from them. They could offer a $100 turbo kit with everything you need, I still wouldn't order it from them.

Good luck bro.

Nope, last week they gave me somebody else's shipping info so thats why I thought mine was shipped.. I emailed them yesterday and they emailed me right back and said mine will be shipping THIS week and I should get my info here soon so I know when to be home to do the COD.

He said the delay has been because of the Holiday and they are just getting to my order.. They go in the order received. So thats my update.. Ill be sure to get pictures once they come in.

Do yourself a favor and all the rest of us. Measure the spring rate of the stock spring, and mantaparts stiff springs.... and let everyone know what you find out.

BOOSTED, how high do you plan to rev your motor? If you're not reving passed the stock rev limit just keep your stock valve springs.

No need,

I tested both, a set of stock valve springs (used) and a set of the Manta springs (new).

I have no idea where the data is now, but the difference was small enough that the only improvement was very likely to be that they were new vs. used.

Personally, I doubt that there would be any concern with stock springs till after 7k rpm.
