So I went to my friend's shop today and I asked him if he could remove my govenor. He told me it could be done, but it's all in the computer and he doesn't have anything that'll mess with the ECU. He told me a place where I can get my ECU tuned for $200. So it's true that it's all in the computer?
I know I know.. this is a bad topic to ask about, but I'm just making sure my mechanic told me correctly.

You would have to get your computer reflashed to remove it. So yes, its in the computer.

I'm afraid for this post already....
the governer is at 108... why do you need to be going faster than that man?
All i've been told is that it is damn near impossible for our ECU's to be hacked into
170km/h is slow buddeyye, and yes stock suspension si not safe for anything over 100kmh

I know it could be reflashed, and yes I heard about that too. But can a standalone get rid of it? And I won't use this on public streets. Track use or closed streets only. It's just so when eventually I finish my car, I won't have to worry about the govenor kicking in.

I did 130 down a neighborhood street the other day! Good times.
