Hey guys, will this motor swap work ok? I'm pretty sure they are a few changes in the engine from 98 to 01 but i'm pretty sure she'll bolt right up and work. Any imput on this?
I would say search first, but ya, it will bolt right up, you need the computer from the 01 though. good luck
Positive I would need the computer? Are they both not OBD2?

If you swap in a 2000+ computer, then you'd need to change everything in the car.
Either swap the manifolds and EGR onto the 01 motor... or get a 99 PCM. No rewiring.
