i've done my intake, got the short shifter, and got the drop i was looking for, so next in my plans was an exhaust.
i am planning on doing a full header back exhaust, so i am looking for a way to make it as quiet as possible. i plan on doing a long one, that runs the length of the car before the muffler. i was wondering if there is somewhere to put another smaller resonator?
i plan on going with a hi-flow cat, so replacing the cat is sort of out of the question.
i did my best trying to find this information through a search, so thank you to anyone that can point me in the right direction. thanks again.
Event has a huge resonator, then a small muffler, then a second muffler. Looks like a awesome setup. Try searching for that, he did post pics on here alittle while ago.
really, i'll see if i can find that. thanks for the super quick response. anyone else? thanks again
Some also use another resonator where it goes sideways before the muffler. I think the guy who did it used a 12" one.

oh, ok, so a 12" will fit in the sideways portion of the exhaust. that's very good to know.
will only a 12" make enough of a difference to notice? thanks again everyone, you are all very helpful as usual
I don't see why it would be impossible to do...if you can find one big one though, that should be enough to lower the tone.

for ur question bout the 12", answer ive found is no, u need atleast 18 inches minium to make a nice difference
i realize to use just the smaller one would probably be a waste, but just to add to the other longer one i plan to get, it should help it out? thanks again everyone
a 14" resonator would fit between the first and second bends. You can a 14" Vibrant resonator off of Ebay
here for $68. It says 18", but the actual body is only 14". Or a Magnaflow one
here for $58. Its really up to you
I was able to fit a 35" Thrush Magnum Glasspack, after I moved my cat forward about 8". I don't think you would be able to do that with the Eco though. I have the 2.2L OHV which the exhaust exits the motor from the front, leaving room to move the cat forward.
As far as the 12-14" resonators, they alone would probably not do much. Using two different sized ones would most likely cancil or absorb different ranges of frequencies.
Glasspacks absorb sound, while resonators use reflection to cancil sounds. Combining them could be another way to a very quite exhaust.
To maintain exhaust gas velocity, use the perforated core resonators / glasspacks / mufflers that have the same inside diameter as the rest of your exhaust system. Don't use the louvored core ones, the louvores impead the gas flow.
