is it worth it?

I want to take off my converter and replace it with a pipe, dual out my exhaust with no mufflers. Despite the noise, do you think it will come to a benefit to my car performance wise? I know one guy dyno'd it and got a 8hp gain but 13ftlbs torque loss. Eco's do have more torque then hp stock, so do you think it's worth it?

Or keep my converter, and just dual out my exhaust with no mufflers.

What gains should I look for open-headers, and with just a converter?

Please don't tell me about the noise, becuase everyone has told me about it.

since you already have a header and a cat back, i don't think it would really add any noticible power. Spend a paycheck elsewhere.

not worth it

stay with a single exhaust , if any thing run a single inlet muffler that has dual outlets to keep the weight down

It might be a bill for labor, that's it. Money isn't the question. Would I get more power if I just ran a straight pipe? Do you think the torque loss is worth the power gain?

In my opinion i wouldnt trade the tq for a few hp. remember tq is what pushes you in the seat and hp determins how fast you can use it.

Leave the cat plane and simple.
