Ok, well i know its been discussed and people who bought it measured their's to come to 2.375", Meaning it was a 2.25 catback correct? Well i was looking on the ebay ads and they mention they have 2.5 and 3" systems.. Would you think the 3" might actually measure up to 2.5 ID like how the 2.5 measures to 2.25? I know if they have the same measurement problems the 3" should end up being 2.75"ID but maybe the bigger the pipe, thicker the wall? Just a thought i had.. I emailed 3 Ebay Stores selling the Megan Racing Catbacks the quote below, waiting for response which when i receive them i will post.

No i am not boosted but its my reasoning for trying to get the 2.5" catback.. so good enough lol. I'm not really asking the diameter of the catback.. just throwing out a idea i had and trying to get more Info on this catback.. and for those who wonder and have yet seen teh measurements.
Anyone else want to add any info or knowledge to this, no prob.. Just trying to get some more info on this. I figured no one else was really doing anything to find this maybe in 2.5" so i thought i would.
I measured the piping on my Megan Racing cat-back with a caliper and it read 2.375 on the outer diameter, which would mean that it is probably a 2 1/4 inner diameter system.

I measure on the first piece behind the cat, so he may be right. But it seems a little odd that they wouldn't just make it completely 2.5".
Well i think Megan Racing was thinking along the lines more that people would just be putting them on stock cats.. So personally i would think i rather have it go 2">2.25">2.5">Out to 4" instead of just going 2">2.5">Out to 4" becuz going from 2-2.5 might seem like a big step.. I emailed them back to get measurements on their 3" Exhaust.. cuz if it goes 2.75-3" That might be better for those planning on turbo. But i'm not educated enough on turbo enough so im not sure.
I don't think they have a 3" system available for our cars. Thats just a generalization that some kits are 2.5" and some are 3".

You could always go the same route as QBE and get one made by Custom Tubes Inc.
The only Megan Racing catback is 2.25" inner diameter piping. End of story

i bought a borla muffler and had a local shop to a 2.5 catback. and put a cut out in too . total cost was a lil over 200 bucks including everything.
