EGR Simulator installation
Monday, December 26, 2005 3:30 PM
I bought the ZZ Performance EGR simulator the other day to fix my EGR check engine light. The simulator has a box with a 4-prong plug and a white and green wire. I am supposing the white and green wires splice into the map sensor wires. What plugs into the other end?

Did you guys just put a blank plate over where the egr goes? If i don't put on a sim. my check engine light will come on right? Does not using the egr hurt anything. Changing to the ho intake is a PIA. I never gave the egr a thought till tonight when i went to put in my ho intake.

so it's best to use heat shrink on the connections to the EGR sim. and in case the EGR sim does cause the car to run like @!#$ and I wish to take it off... there is enough slack to reconnect what i cut out?
