What's involved with instaling the ecotec upper motor mount? Hard, easy? Thanks.
It's simple. You will need a jack for the engine. You can support the engine or not.
-Move the coolant resevior out of the way.
-Move the crusie control (if you have it)
-Unbolt the stock mount from the motor. The engine will shift supported of not.
-Remove the other bolts holding the stock mount down
-Put the new mount in place
-Jack the motor and move the motor so the bolts line up. Bolt it in.
-Put everything back
Cool, doesn't sound to tough. thanks for the info.
just a note.....i didn't need to move the coolant tank, it may be easier with it moved, but not neccissary

I tried without moving it with the coolant and i couldnt get the mount out, so i had to.
Not to sound stupid, but how did you prop the engine with a jack. Did you place a 2X4 across the bottom of the engine in between the jack and engine? Where exactly did you place the jack...................Thanks.
Place 2X4(s) on the jack and lift on the oil pan. Just lift it enough to remove the strain from the motor mount bolts, i.e. just a tad more after you have made contact on the pan with the jack/2x4's.
