I've had the pulley on my car for about 4 months now, everything was fine. The belt size I was told would work was 45.75", however it wasn't even close to fitting. So I had to go up to the next size, which was 47.00". Its been running find, hasn't been slipping, but the tensioner is tensioned to the max. Now with winter, I need to put the heat on in my car, and it makes the belt squeal like you wouldn't believe when the car is below 1500 rpms. Anyone else have a tough time getting the belt to fit? What is the 100% proper belt size to be using. Only thing I can think of is I changed my alternator, could there be a diff. pulley size on the alternator that could cause the problem?
Did you contact Unorthodox to see what belt size you're supposed to have?

the belt they suggest on their website was the 45.75" one. Haven't contacted them directly but I'll give that a shot. Another solution I had was getting an alternator pulley. Either way, if its smaller/bigger than stock. It would either make the smaller belt fit, or pick up the slack of the larger one. I'll try getting a hold of UR.
You want a 450K5. It might be a bitch to get on, but it will work.

Thats the belt I tried at first, and couldn't get it on for the life of me, I guess I'll have to try and give it another go.
It will go on, you might have to start the wrench on the underside to get plenty of leverage

thought I'd throw this page up. Says the proper belt size is 45.75", which I believe is actually the 457, not 450 belt size. I'm getting the belt tomorrow and I'll let y'all know how it works out.
