Hey, just lookin around at weird stuff
linkity linkity
does that mean if I would get the gm supercharger when it comes out I can expect 240hp out of my 03ls sport? Even if not, its a nice car to look at
that sucks, whats different? Is it vvt or something?

Not even that...just 2 different motors all together but probably are somewhat similar in some charcteristics.
The 2.2 ECOTEC in the Sunfires/Cavaliers is the L61
The 2.2 ECOTEC in the Vauxhaul is L850
Also, we don't know what kind of pulley is on that supercharger and we don't know what compression comes in their 2.2s, those are pretty much the deciding factors.

I can clear this confusion up...
The VX lightning was a concept that eventually got turned into the saturn sky. I have the 2.2 ecotec in my vauxhall vx220
.
Its the same engine you have over in the states. It has the electronic throttle like in the ions and sunfires.
The engine that was going into the vx lighning concept (original post) became the superchargerd 2.0 ecotec which is now in the ion redline and cobalt ss.
Anyhow, back to the original post, the SC kit from GM for the 2.2 will probably only give 200bhp (sema had a poster saying this). But apparently, the intercooler cores are in the intake manifold so you should be able to intercool it, bumping that number up!
