does anyone have these pulleys for the 2200... if so what belt did you get for them

yeah just got them about 2 weeks ago now, the belt size if im not mistaken is either 9 or 10 inches shorter. They said 2 but its off by some. Other than that it brings the rpms up a little more. belt should cost no more than 30

RSM's is better in all honesty. Stock size, same belt as stock. Lighter than the CC pulley. Not to mention... it doesn't affect your charging system.

how much more power will rsm pulleys give

the pulleys will only give a few hp. but their benefit is in that they make your car rev faster and get to the power band quicker.

it's not necessarily about power gain. they help your powerband, a good increase in high rpm's, and they lighten up the crank and accessory rotating weight a bit.

charging system ????? what do you mean at lwe rev at high rev, i think cause it is reving faster more power or who exactly is it or does it effect the charging system ..............

an underdrive pulley that is smaller than stock slows down your accessories. you will notice your headlights dim, air doesn't blow unless you have your foot on the gas and it's on full blast, interior lights dim, all the goodies.

ok, so why do they send you a larger Alternator pulley?

Let me say that better....

I understand the underdrive end of things, but why a bigger alt pulley? I would think a smaller alt pulley would let the alt turn faster and make more use. I figure a large one would slow it down more.

and would a higher amp alt work ?

the reason that they make the alt pulley bigger is to slow down the alternator. slowing the alternator reduces the amount or rotating resistance. but since the alternator is rotating slower, it will not charge at the same capacity as it would with the stock pulley. that is why spotabee suggests the RSM pulleys...both are stock size (no charging issues) plus they are lighter than every other pulley out there. hope that clears some things up.
