I was thinking about buying one for my car. How does everyone like theirs??
single > dual
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
^^ preferance
i like the way it sounds
should have the set on shortly
more for looks tho
You can do it for free in one hour, don't buy a premade bolt on catback just to pay to have it put on. I also like the single over the dual.

its just for looks.
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
Some consider it more on the raspy side because of the lack of resonator(s) and the canister Magnaflow mufflers. You might want to look into Magnaflows or Borlas Dual Cat-back if you want it Pre-made.
You could easily pick out your exhaust system as far as parts though and take it to an exhaust shop to make you the piping for a cheaper price.

I've had my Magnaflow dual exhaust on for a little over 6 months, and i'm very happy with it. Not only does it look better than the single, it sounds great too. Doesn't sound ricey at all. I installed mine myself in a couple hours, and the only problem i ran into was the kit didn't include bolts for where the exhaust connects to the cat. No biggie though. Its a great exhaust.
personally, i think dual cannister mufflers coming out of any car just looks retarded.

If it doesnt have to be dual that dont get duals.....just adds weight and cost for no reason.
Not a fan of the round mufflers either.
Trust me, your car will look so much better with the Magnaflow dual exhaust than if you had a single. Not all cars look good with dual exhaust, but the cavalier looks great with it. Don't get the single and be disappointed, get the dual, it looks so much better.

Personal opinion and taste cannot be offered as something that has credibility or to be trusted. Sure, we can all trust in the fact that you might HAVE a personal opinion, but that's still your personal opinion and he's more than prone to disagreeing.

It is my opinion that duals look better than single, and you don't have to listen to my opinion. And who was talking about Mustangs anyway?
I don't personally like how is sounds, i have heard it on a number of cav and it is just to raspy. Plus unless you have a body kit it look funny with these two canister just sitting there. When i see from the rear a car with two canister just looks funny. I have a dual set up but i used a muffler from a Camaro.
I will show you the set up on Daves car and my car is the white one. I used Camaro Tips. I used a Dynomax Superturbo and Dave used Dynomax Ultraflo

i have ithe duals and i love them. i think single exhausts look, well, very off center and they set the car off. duals even out the "visual weight" in the back. and not only that, they sound hotttt! different then really any others ive heard. deeper then that "ricey" sound. I do not have a rear lip on yet so yea they do stand out a bit but this spring itll be on so yea... Get it!!!
A lip with cut outs will help but those muffler hanging there like on the car above is not very appealing. Most times you want to see the tip to finish of the back not the whole muffler.

never thought of using a camaro mufler, flat tips definitly look better than round ones. that's a look I'm gonna have to steal
i remember dave did that set up and nobod paid much attention to it. But when i did it about three years ago and showed it on the org a bunch of people have been doing that set up. i am not hateing. I think it is a good set up for a dual look..

My friend owns a Tiburon that comes stock with the dual exhaust, and his car sounds badass. I don't see how people hink dual does nothing. It looks good, has usually a louder sound, and can kick up the power if its actual dual.
^^^First thing the Tiburon is a 6 cylinder. If if it is an inline six then it is one header. IF that is the case the Dual exhaust is just for looks. Most people with a stock car that has duals for look goes for a single exhaust for better peformance. Dual has not shown on any Dyno i know of to improve power. In fact i have seen on a Camaro that went to a single set up to get a few extra HP.

the rk duals look wicked on 95-99 with the stock Z bumper.. thats gonna by my next set-up, just look at illd9's old 97 Z he had the rk duals on his car and they looked mean as @!#$ with the Z bumper... thats all IMO of course, single exhaust looks good too... i just like the look of duals better, plus not many z24s around here have duals and when they do they aint very nice...
here is a pic of my current setup, not many like it but i think it looks pretty good and its not raspy at all, very deep but weigh a ton.. lol but like i said the rk duals will be here by this summer.
^^^ Those look better than the hanging cans under the car but i would have liked it better is Rk used a muffler with dual tip that were straight than those DTM tips that stick up. I use to have a single DTM tip and i grew to hate how it looked
