ho problems

i have a 98 sunfire gt and i just did the ho swap on it but i am having issues. ive searched and i followed the instructions on ny-jbodies to it and i beleive i have everything right. i have no leaks vacuum lines are where they are supposed to be (i think) egr plate is on the motor and egr is still connected. but the issue is when i am driving and its with any gear if i have it above 2500 rpms and press on the clutch to stop and come to a complete stop my car's rpms go down real low to about 500 rpms and start jumping up and down from 500 to 1000 rpms and it will do that till i give it a little bit of gas or it just dies. i do have a check engine light and i got checked out but it was for the egr and it said insufficient flow or something. but i have this issue and if anyone can help please let me know. its frustrating the crap out oof me.. anther question on the map sensor and tps should i be using the 2.4 or 2.3?

when you people say "HO swap" your only talking about the intake right?

Well, it could be just the intake manifold of the 56mm TB also. I did the swap and had the SAME EXACT problem. I had the 56mm TB on. I swapped the 52mm stock TB back on and it worked fine. I never did figure out why the 56mm TB wouldn't work. I have a feeling it had to to with either the butterfly not perfectly fitting or the IAC sensor. I plan to take everything off this weekend and redo it all and see if I can get it to work. Even with the stock 52mm TB on, if I drive it real hard and come to a quick stop, it will idle funny and almost die. I have to rev it a few times until it goes back to normal.
