I was messing around today and I decided to see roughly how fast I could get going in a 1/4 mile. I used the odometer(trip), which I know isn't too accurate but it should provide me with a fairly correct measure. The fastest I could get going is around 80. Maybe I didn't completely go for the extra .05 but I don't think it would have made much of a difference. I always thought my car was semi-fast, it keeps up with a 1.8T with Intake/front mount/BOV (basically I don't feel like anything is wrong with it). Now I think I may be having some problems? Any ideas? Average 1/4 speeds for the Z24 is around 89 right? And I have a few (very minor) upgrades.
im sure it does.... stock 2200 3spd auto= slow and heavy
my car runs a 15.6 in the qtr mile, with only an intake and exhaust, and i trap at about 85-88 mph. so you are probably around the same as me, maybe a little slower.

My car is manual, I would think it would be getting to higher speeds than your autos. Yes, I know how to drive it.
He has a 2.4 TC and manual. (in the profile) Should have better times than that, unless it's bagged out. Try launching differnetly.
I top at nearly 70 in the 1/8th
my stock 2200 4spd hits 78 in the qtr mile.....its just what our cars trap
