Please before you post, follow the link. I would like to keep this all on Q4F to make it easier. If you are not part of that messageboard you can join it, or you can post here and i can try to add your comments to that thread. But it would be easier if everyone posted in the other thread.

they would need a 96-98 2.4 , and a 95-98 2.2 for testing since they both use egr

nice to know they are willing to help out

ya i would be down for it. i used there one for the GTP and so have others with problems. i cant see what they could do. the grand prix one has the same egr plug as ours, hooks up the same way. maybe it is that the GTP has a mass air flow sensor that makes it run normal with the egr simulator hooked up. i dunno..

basically tapping into the map sensor wire= car runs like crap. it keeps the code away, but i couldnt deal with the random stalling, rough idle, hesitation from a stop and bouncing RPMS when i push in the clutch from a roll.

now i just clear my check engine light for the egr and it runs like stock.

so i will keep my eye on this post and see what comes of it./ crossing fingers.

I've debated just finding a way to use my EGR with the HO manifold. You know if I EVER get the manifold on the car........

It's starting to sound like clearing the PCM every time you get a CEL is the way to go.
