on my 05 sunfire its nearly brand new not even 5k on the meter yet. anyways ever since i bought it brand ne it just seems like it is slow to rev. i can hold the pedal down in neutral and let off and it will hit say 5k a sec later it just seems slow to me.
The tachs in our cars suck plain and simple. the tach has to play catchup to the motor which is really poor I think. best thing to do is get a tach adapter and get an aftermarket tach if your really worried about it!

yeah, The tach's are slow. Not the engine. atleast on mine it is. I can hit the limiter when the tach is only at around 3k!
