ok i did a search for this and didnt find anything except racing. Has anyone on here put the stock srt4 exhaust on a na ecotec?? I have a friend who is giving my his stock exhaust and I know that it sounds really good on a na neon. I was just wondering how hard it would be to get it to mount up. I understand I will probably have to move the mount points I was just wondering if anyone had done it and how they liked it??

i did my entire exhuast with header for $300 piping, glasspack resonator, and cat. yes its side exit but just a few more feet of pipe wont be that much

srt4's dont have a muffler they are open pipe

To tell you the truth , i think the SRT4's soooooo horrible. They sound like tanks.
All the boosted MUFFLED Ecotec's/2.4s i have heard so 10x's nicer

but catalytic converters didn't become mandatory in emission standards until 1981...

I am not sure if it will fit they have different axles, different geomerty under the car. Does the exhaust over the axle at the same location and if not then it won't work. If you want a dual muffle look you can do a camaro muffler like i did on my car. You can see my car domain site to see my set up.
