So i got some qs. ok the car is a 97 cavi 2.2 auto. brand new starter, new battery, new starter relay, all the fuese in the car are good. the car will give enought power to play cd plaer and all other things in car. but will not turn over not even make a clickin noise. any one got any ideas?
Check wiring from ignition switch to solenoid, check the ground from the solenoid, check the wiring from the solenoid to the starter.
By check wiring I mean check for an open or short to ground (chassis). Easy way is take a 9 volt battery, disconnect both ends of the wire, ground one terminal of the battery, and then at the other end of the wire check for 9 volts between the wire and ground.
Or if you have the equipment a TDR will work
(Time Domain Reflectometer)
checked ignition coils and ICM?
