Just a quick question...does it matter which tb i get from a 2.3? does it matter if its the ho or the lo? I know they are both 56mm but i read somewhere they are differnt so which one do i get for my 99 sunfire 2200...phil

0well i just swapped a 2.3 throttlebody in my 2001 2200. it fit fine . i'm about to start a do it yourself post bout it i don't think it matter but i don't know what one i have either. what one do you have.?

i dont have one but i know where a few 2.3 lo ones are so im trying to find out if it matters so i can get it today...phil

i say get it cause i don't think there different ... no reason to be . if it doesn't wor put it on the classifieds and someone will buy it . how much can u get one for? if you are concerned bout the fitment i would just bore out your stock throttlebody . i'm boring my stock spare one to 60mm for turbo . and i have my stock 52 and i have the 2.3 one . all i can say is go for it . if you can't use it sopmeone else will or can .

I don't know about ho or lo but I know year wise the older one you have to take off some stupid bracket before you put it on. Either than that not too sure.
