better to have a 2 piece or a 1 piece header? also whish is better 4-2-1 or 4-1? i have a 97 2.4l. im thinking bout getttin catback exhaust with a header. should i get a down pipe also? any suggestions is appreciate.
When it comes to modifying a car, you must learn that there is no best...only a prefered.
4-2-1 style header tend to give better low end power, 4-1 style headers tend to give better top end power...that's basically it.

Try to stick to a one piece. Remember the more parts and gaskets thats just more to go wrong.
