a 2.3 gasket is needed or some good high temp silicone. If you use the gasket make sure to elongate and slot the same holes on the gaset as the manifold.

Well for me,
I took a few 2.3L gaskets sets from advance auto parts. and 'fabbed' my own.

Common knowledge about the 'B' shape of the 2.4L side.

So basically I got a set of dikes (the hand tool kind) and snipped and snipped until I had the gasket I needed.

I would show a pic, but i just sold the mani and am shipping if off Friday,

put the gasket on both sides of the flange........ I used some of the 'make your own gasket' stuff from Advanced or Auto Zone..... gasket paper.

I got some of the make your own gasket and i will make one for each side of the flange since it would help seal both sides. thanks for all the replies.
