Anybody know the size of the stock throttle body on a 2.2 liter ecotec in my 04 cavi?
I theres one online thats 69mm, and wanted to know if thats bigger then stock... it should be right?
It's listed in teh FAQ just so you know............. but I believe the ecotecs have 58mm throttles....I could be wrong.........look in the FAQ lol, but the 62mm is defenitly bigger than stock thats the size I use on my z24.
Yea i believe that the eco does have a 58mm Tb, but remember bigger is not always better, you will lose low end torque. You should read about the relationship between velocity and power.
Yep, 58mm is stock.. I use the 62mm as well, and noticed a big difference in low to mid range torque. Too big of a TB can reverse your performance desires.. i.e. reduce your HP-- But I'm no expert
