Try Flowmaster or Magnaflow. They have mufflers that flow really well and don't cost a ton of money and look totally stock if you just use a simple turndown tailpipe. I have one from Autozone that I believe is made by Cherrybomb, and it looks stock but a little smaller. It's a little loud, though. The other ones I mentioned will be a little louder than stock, but the won't sound like the typical tuner muffler.
"Silly cluth, glazing is for donuts!"
^ all of those mufflers aren't quiet.

magnaflow is one of the best sounding mufflers imo, really deep and not loud and annoying, they also have alot of stock appering ones too. another good choice is vibrant it is a branch of magnaflow so they have the sound but there a little more flashy i.e bigger tips and such they are a little cheeper though.
Quiet and performance muffler dont exactly go hand in hand what do you want? a stock replacement or extra perormance? the muffler will yield little to no gain by itself so why bother........get a full header back system or at the very least a cat-back exhaust system if you want a performance gain and those wont be quiet either.

Agreed.
Also my question is, why do you want just a muffler? If you want a muffler for performance than you're wasting your time. If you want a muffler for looks, than either buy a Magnaflow muffler with a nice tip or put a tip on your current muffler because most of the time that's all that people will see anyways.
Good Luck.

I have magnaflow muffler thought i bought from checker, its super quiet and its a straight throw design, and it looks stock its a 4"x9" oval and 16" long 2.5" diameter. I love it and all my friends love it,
If you want performance out of the exhaust, get a complete replacement, with a 26" or longer resonator/glasspack from Summit Racing, cost me $27 shipped, and I have a magnaflow muffler, sounds stock when I go through town, and gets pretty loud when I'm on it, its a great combo.
when you change just the muffler to a magnaflow will you get a better sound out of it?

All I have to say is longest resonator you can get and flowmaster 40 series aqnd you'll be happy. Mine is nice and quite till it gets up in the rpms and floor it. It looks stock too.
