I don't want to pay $250+ for an intake and im pretty srue i haeard somewhere that the 2.4L's and the Ecotecs are the exact same intake? is this true just want to make sure before i buy anything

i updated my registry a bit, ill get into more detail when i have more time. I should have stated that i drive a 04 Cavalier. I tried searching for something that is for my year and didnt come up with anything that would be less then $250-300 by the time it got to me because i live in canada but i saw this and was wondering this would fit?

If you're buying a brand new intake, why are you buying one for a different motor? ECOTEC Intakes aren't hard to find or that expensive. Check out weapon-r's intakes...
