first off, not sure what i want to do exactly with my exhaust... i used to ahve a muffler on but it was too loud for me on the highways so now i have a 03 oem muffler on it. but im starting to miss the sound BUT i do not want it loud on the highway.

i know that resonators will quiet down your exhaust... so if i ever get a cat-back i will def. have some... is this a good find? two for $19 (depending on bidding)..

I have two Thrush turbo Hush mufflers on mine cause of the noise factor as well. These gave mine a deep tone thats not overly loud or obnoxious.

Check my profile. It's quiet and deep toned, but flows exceptionally well. If you can cut and weld do it yourself, if not have a shop do, it will still be cheaper than most bolt on cat back kits.

You can go to an exhaust shop and get a resonator put on for probably under $100. I have damn near the biggest that will fit, and it quieted my exhaust considerably. You can also go the dual muffler route that someone stated. You can mount them inline, and it's supposed to work quite well.
