Wankel is a direct bolt in and all of the factory wiring will work with the 89 RX7 turbo II engine

I don't know what you're starting with but a lot of it depends on what you want. I'll assume you're starting with an LN2 engine. If you're wanting a V6, a 2.8 or 3.1 will fit with little trouble and won't cost much compared to some other options. There's a few places to get speed parts for them if you look on the net. The most popular V6 to swap, at least in my opinion, is the L67. It's harder to do and costs more, but if you absolutely must do a swap, that's the way to go. Talk to Raven. I think that's his name. He put an L67 in his ride and I hear its pretty quick. On the other hand, if you have an LN2 and want an easier way to go fast, I would recommend boosting it. You'll get the same net result as a swap without the hastles of fabrication and wiring. As far as the most outrageous, hard core, money no object swap, check into a Northstar V8. It's been done in other GM platforms, and it's only a matter of time before someone shoves one in a Cavy. I'd actually pay to see that.
