I have to take the stock TB off, and just use 2 bolts to hold on the 2.3 TB correct? Is the IAC and TPS already on the 2.3 TB and would come with it if you bought one or what?
Also just if someone can just tell me the wires or vaccum lines that i take off my 2200 just tell me which ones go from the 2200 to the 2.3 TB so i know what to do with them.
theres no wires on ANY TB...
simply hook your wires from your car up to the new TB.
tee off a small vaccum line, done.
dont make it harder than it really is... once you have the 2.3 TB and you compare it to the one you have....you will see easily what needs to be done, trust me.
Is this the most cost efficient way to increase the bore on the throttle body? I ask b/c I want to do a cam as well and figured a little larger throttle body wouldn't hurt.
I'll have a sig someday....................
all depends on your skill level...
i;ve seen people pay over 100$ in repairs and 60$ in parts cause they made something easy too difficult...
it would have been more cost effctive to bore their stock one and be done...
I am fairly mechanically savvy now. Did my own work on my SR20DET and it wasn't all that bad. I just bought a 2.3 HO TB for failry reasonable, so I guess that answers that question.

then yea you know whats up...
easy fix, small lil things to do to make it easier, but a direct replacement.
s-13 or 14?
S-13 redtop. Did some turbo work and new gaskest and whatnot. Hope I can do a throttle body!

Thanks. I love the car and love RWD aspect of it. It is a pain in the ass though. The cost of gas has really killed it for me!! The cav incorporates a DD that has decent performance and decnt MPG, which is why I love it and won't sell it for anything!
