Magnaflow muffler ?
Wednesday, September 21, 2005 10:30 AM
Well, my current muffler is broke (big chunk missing out of the side where a mount was welded to it).

I want to switch to something thats very low profile (as opposed to my current one).

What would provide better fitment:

With a 7" long tip

or

With a 4" long tip.

Thanks for the input.

Either muffler will fit fine. Even if you had a slight problem as far your fitment, an good exhaust shop can make it fit properly. I personally have a magnaflow muffler and tip setup with a body kit and they fit that thing nicely.

depends on how far they mount it in or out away from the axle... custom job = custom fit of custom parts

I'm thinking the 7" one since I can inset the muffler farther. I don't want that big flashy SS thing in plain view.

Either Or, the welder can even cut back the piping if it sticks out a bit too much. The welder can put it to your liking.

Go for the 7" one, if you set it right you'll only see the tip which always looks nice.
