Hi I am Tom I am looking for a 2.8 litre multi port fuel injection front wheel drive engine for a 1989 chevy cavalier on vancouver island. so far I have had no luck at all finding one anywhere around where I live in campbell river but I am hoping somebody out there has one for sale????? so if u know of one somewhere on vancouver island reply. Thank you.

Have you tried looking on BC Jbody? Someone there might be able to help you out. I believe you can also use a 3.1, so that might help you in your search. I know there are a ton of 3.1's in the yards here in SK. Should be the same out there, I would think.

well do u need to fully change any kind of mounts or anything else to fit a 3.1 litre engine instead of the stock 2.8 into a 1989 cavalier z24????
