Where to buy Resonator?
Friday, September 16, 2005 12:19 AM
Alrighty, I have a 2.25" Cat-back. It has a Duramax Turbo muffler and its pretty raspy when the car is cold. Not as smooth as I want it to be. I looked online for close to an hour and all i found was a 30" for like $20 and a vibrant 18" for like $88 shipped. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to get in order for my exhuast to sound smooth.

Yeah you can even get them from most local auto parts stores... sometimes they arent called resonators though maybe glasspacks or cherry bombs..... summit racing, jegs, jcwhitney, ebay, they all have them.

I used to buy them for under $20 from Jegs. Jegs just takes forever for shipping. This is when you need to find a local shop that likes you and that is fully legit. Get in good with them. I get all my parts for $10 over cost, anything I need that they can get ahold of. So... find a shop and just order your parts from them, avoid shipping costs.

You can get Cherrybomb glasspacks from autozone. Around 20 bucks.
