How can you tell if a spark plug is hott or cold

I hear ppl talk about buying spark plugs that are 1 step or 2 steps colder or hotter. Whats the diffrence and plus how can you tell? Not to sound like a newbe but lol...

usually by the denoted numbers...

its different for each company, but it gives you the way you can tell by the plug...

not too sure what to give you as i have heard a crap load on what people are running, what not to run, etc...

best bet.

check the nitrous forums and check and see whos been on nitrous for a decent amount of time with an ecotec... atleast that way you know what they are using is workin for them...

people run NGK TR6 or AUtolite 103 for nitrous
