what a suprise...o2 sensor problem

I own an '01 sunfire and about three months ago I put in my pacesetter header. With the header came a splice kit to extend the O2 sensor, which was completely useless and the cel came on. I took it back in and had them solder the wires to see if that would help, but unfortunately failed as well. It seems that my last resort is a new sensor with longer wires. I checked autozone, rksport and other local parts stores here in Denver bringing up the question: where can I find what I need? Do you know of a place that has this sensor with longer, or is it possible to have someone modify my sensor? Any suggestion will help.

get a new sensor....

if its a one wire sensor, cut and solder in the length you need... most sensors arent gonna be sold with longer wires, but many come from bosch as a universal sensor, where its just the sensor and no connector to where you solder it onto your old wires connector....

if you have a one wire sensor, let me know, i can do that easily.

I have a 2 wire sensor. But how does that really differ from the initial solder they did?
